    I. Detection Principle

    It only detects whether the connection is broken; it can detect even without touching the sensor, and lights up a red indicator when the wire is disconnected.

    Detects fluctuations in the infrared beam’s received signal. If there is no signal change for a continuous period of time, the sensor determines that the connection has been broken and the indicator light changes accordingly. This detection method only determines whether the object being monitored has been completely disconnected, regardless of the material of the object or the specific location of the disconnection.

     
    Red light illuminates when a wire is broken at any location.   When the wire is not disconnected: The light does not turn on.
    *The status of the indicator light can be switched and set—for example, the light remains off when the wire is disconnected, and stays on when the wire is not disconnected.
     

    II. Reaction Sensitivity

    Length/contact is unlimited; time is adjustable.

    The detection line length is unlimited, and the sensitivity is adjustable.

     
         

    III. Detecting Objects

    The FD10 can detect wires made of most materials, such as yarns, copper wires, flexible wires, metal wire cables, soldering wires, enameled wires, filaments, optical fibers, and more. The FD11 is designed for detecting wires made of flat-profile materials.

    4. Output energy consumption

    Power consumption is less than 20mA, the supply voltage is 12–24V DC, the output mode is IO output, and the maximum load current is 100mA.

    *An output pulse may occur when the power supply is disconnected; therefore, you must first disconnect the power supply to the load or the load line.
