    I. Ultra-high detection performance

The detection principle of the JP-D60 series is based on measuring the distance traveled by pulsed laser light as it is emitted, reflected off an object, and returns. This method is unaffected by the surface condition of the workpiece, enabling stable detection.

    II. Accurate and Simple Setup

Relying on a clear and straightforward OLED display and a combination of three buttons to adjust various parameters and operating modes.

The OLED display can accurately show characters; simply observe the screen to operate it.   The red light stays on continuously when power is applied and no output is present; the blue light stays on continuously and provides a stable output when the set conditions are met.

    III. Ultra-long-distance Detection and Installation

The work area is fraught with numerous complexities, and occasionally sensors may collide with workpieces during installation, leading to detection failures. However, the JP-D60 series can be installed in undisturbed locations, enabling “ultra-long-distance setting and detection” and thereby avoiding collisions and overlapping positions that could otherwise affect operations.

Standard optoelectronic installation requires a very close distance.   TOF sensors can be installed in remote locations for detection.

IV. Example of Robotic Arm Handling

There are numerous risks associated with the operation of robotic arms in their vicinity. For instance, an improperly positioned chuck could lead to collisions between tools and sensors, or false detections caused by splashes of liquids from workpieces adhering to the surface—both of which can damage the sensors. However, the JP-D60 series’ “ultra-long-distance installation and detection” feature effectively avoids collisions, water splashes, and unintended movements that might be triggered by robotic arm handling, thereby ensuring smooth and uninterrupted production operations.
